Vegan French Onion Soup

This recipe can be made vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free by using gluten-free bread and vegan cheese!

Serves: 4-6 Ingredients:- 3 Edward & Sons® Savory Onion Cubes
- 6 cups boiling water
- 1 tbsp The Wizard's® Gluten-Free Vegan Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 4-6 slices bread of choice
- 4-6 slices vegan cheese or shredded cheese
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Heat oil in a large soup pot. Add onions and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes until softened, stirring frequently.
- Add remaining ingredients, except bread and cheese. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- If desired, shred cheese and toast bread.
- Place 4-6 oven proof bowls on the baking sheet and ladle soup into the bowls.
- Place bread on top of soup and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Broil for 1-2 minutes and then serve immediately! Enjoy!
