Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
-
1 can Native Forest Organic Mandarin Oranges, frozen in an ice cube tray
-
2 ice cubes
-
1 small carrot, thinly sliced
-
1 small banana, or 1/2 a large banana
-
1/2 inch piece of ginger
-
1 can Native Forest Organic Classic Coconut Milk
-
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
-
a tiny pinch of black pepper (to activate the turmeric)
-
1 teaspoon chia seeds
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
-
Freeze mandarins & the mandarin juice in an ice cube tray until frozen solid.
-
Once frozen, add to blender along with all other ingredients and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
-
Divide into 2 glasses and enjoy!
-
Recipe tip: if you don't have the time to freeze your mandarins before making, just add a few extra ice cubes to the blender. The smoothie won't be *quite* as thick, but it will still be super duper delicious!
