Accessibility Statement

 At Edward & Sons Trading Company, Inc., we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible and user-friendly for everyone. The World Wide Web Consortium (or “W3C”) (whose mission is the promotion of the international integration and interoperability of the “Web”) has issued Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the current version of which is 2.1. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA to make our digital experience inclusive for individuals of all abilities. 

Accessibility is a core part of our values, and we are actively working to ensure that our website content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. This includes providing meaningful alternative text for images, maintaining clear navigation and structure, and supporting compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers.  As part of this goal, we have partnered with an accessibility firm (Recite Me) to provide visitors with accessibility tools and options. 

Ongoing Improvements

We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process. We are continuously monitoring our site and making updates as needed to improve usability and address potential accessibility barriers. We are also working with external partners to audit and enhance our accessibility compliance.  Of course, a change to one IT platform (sometimes even a very small one) can have knock-on effects on other.  We monitor and assess our website by various means  to ensure that the WCAG standards already met are not negated due to IT interoperability and other issues.
