Grilled Chreese®
1 packet (1/4 Cup) Chreese® Mix 4 slices of bread 1 TBSP of Earth Balance (or other vegan margarine) 1 tsp of Olive Oil 1 Tomato (optional)
- Mix Chreese into 5 TBSP of boiling water and Olive Oil (or use 1/4 Cup of pre-made Chreese from food processor for 2 sandwiches).
- Place vegan margarine on a frying pan on low-med heat
- Once margerine has melted, place all 4 pieces of bread onto pan so that they each soak up the margerine.
- Pour a thin layer of Chreese onto 2 pieces of bread covering entire area.
- Put slices of tomatoes (optional) on top of Chreese and close sandwiches with remaining 2 pieces of bread.
- Cook each side of sandwiches for a few minutes until Chreese looks baked and bread is golden brown.
