- Heat oil over medium high heat.
- Sauté onion, celery and garlic until onion is clear.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Stir in flour to make a roux.
- Stirring often, cook roux over very low heat for 3 minutes.
- Return heat to high, add the vegetable broth and tamari sauce, and whisk.
- Bring gravy to a boil, stirring often.

3 Tbsp Unbleached white flour
1 cube Edward & Sons Garden Veggie Bouillon cube dissolved in 2 cups hot water
2 Tbsp Tamari
1 Tbsp Fresh sage, minced
