For Low Sodium Veggie Bouillon Cubes
Vegetable Pilaf (Serves 4)
Ingredients:
- 1 Low Sodium Veggie cube dissolved in 2 ¾ cups hot water
- 1 cup Brown rice
- 1/3 cup Chickpeas, cooked
- 1/2 cup Carrots, chopped
- Add prepared broth and all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 - 60 minutes.
- Stir and serve hot.
- Options: Add other chopped veggies of choice—onions, mushrooms, green peas, broccoli.....
